Jason Smyth

Jason Smyth will be competing in Tokyo Parlympics Representing Ireland. The Paralympics start on the 24th August.  Jason is a member of the Lisburn Ward of the Belfast Stake in Ireland. Normally his wife, Elise, and their 2 daughters would be in the stadium cheering him on, but because of covid, Jason's family are not allowed to attend the games.

Jason will be running in the T13 100 metres. The heat and final for that competition are on the 29th August. This will be Jason's 12th major championship competition.  Jason goes to Tokyo as the reigning Paralympic champion. His family and everyone in the Church, here in Ireland, are all very proud of him and wish him every success in Tokyo. 🥇

Jason and Elise spoke recently on the Hope Helps podcast. You can hear this podcast by clicking here.
