Martin Graydon has been called as a Branch President in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this role, President Graydon will be the leader of the Church's congregation in the Mullingar area and his responsibilities will be similar to those of a priest or pastor. The Mullingar branch is one of 24 similar congregations in Ireland.

In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this position is unpaid and Branch Presidents continue to pursue their careers and serve in the Church during their remaining time. President Graydon will be assisted in his calling/assignment by two counsellors/advisors. He has been a church member for almost 34 years, during which time he served a two year voluntary mission in Scotland from 1988 to 1990.
He works as a Customer services agent and Network Marketing Business owner and has been married to Maria for three years.
President Graydon said that his main focus will be to do all he can to encourage the members of his congregation to continue to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ by serving others, understanding their own worth, setting personal goals and attending the temple regularly.
